How To Enter

Please ensure you have read the Categories & Criteria before entering. Remember it's FREE to enter the Awards, and you are encouraged to submit multiple entries where applicable.

Please use the Entry Form Template here as the starting point for each of your submissions, answering all the questions / and including all the information as indicated within the specific entry criteria, adhering to the word count stipulated.  The entry criteria vary for each category.

Submission for ALL Categories

There is a major change to the entry process this year. You will be required to submit TWO PDF documents.

The first PDF document (using the Entry Form Template here) must include your entry details, the questions listed in the specific entry criteria by category with your answers, adhering to the stipulated word count ONLY!

So, this is essentially your core entry submission only and should follow the criteria in detail and be a stand-alone, completed application.

The second PDF document is your opportunity to enhance your submission using statistics, spread sheets, graphs, pictures, articles, promotional collateral, embedded web links to online videos etc. Please do not repeat your core entry answers in your support document.

  • Please top each entry file with the category entered and the name of the entrant / entry.
  • Remember, generic / standardised / non-category specific / PR generated content is very unlikely to be successful.
  • Each entry file must be a maximum of 4 x A4 pages in length, the total file size for each must not exceed 5Mb and the two files only per individual entry may be submitted. If your file size exceeds 4 x A4 pages and/or 5Mb, then your entry will be disqualified. If you submit more than the two documents stipulated, you will be disqualified.
  • It is important to ensure that your two PDF entry files are complete, checked and contain all the required information - answers to the listed entry criteria adhering to the specified word count in the first PDF file, and the full support material in the second PDF file - before you begin the online submission process.
  • Duplicate entries or entries with more than the specified two files will not be accepted and will be deleted.

  • There is no limit to the number of relevant categories a company or organisation can enter, but separate entry files must be submitted for each category.
  • All entries will be treated in the strictest confidence and will only be used for this judging process.
  • The independent judging panel, consisting of experts from the security and fire industries, will mark each entry against the specific entry criteria provided for each category.
  • The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into after the final decision has been made.
  • No employee of Informa, or any persons related to them are entitled to enter.
  • Sponsors and their subsidiaries cannot enter the category they are sponsoring.
  • Once an individual, company, or organisation is announced as a finalist, the company cannot withdraw from the competition.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed no later than five weeks before the awards event and invited to attend on the night of Monday 02 December 2024 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London. (Payment will be required in advance if attending).  If the live event is not possible due to reasons out of our control, then the results will be announced virtually.
  • Winners and finalists may inform of their status in advertising (or use the position-specific logo in promotional material and marketing collateral), but it must be clear in which year they were successful.
  • The winners will be revealed and presented with their trophies at the Awards Ceremony on Monday 02 December 2024 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London.  To book your tables at the event, please go to the ATTEND section of this site NOW.  Please note that the event sells out, so you are strongly advised to book NOW to avoid disappointment.
